Narrative Still Life Workshop

About the event
Come visit Out of the Box and learn from Illustrator, cartoonist, and MassArt professor, Sanika Phawde. Sanika will be teaching a 2 hour long narrative workshop on Friday, April 28th from 12pm to 2pm.
Following a short lecture on the applications of narrative still lifes, the class will collaboratively set up an absurdist still life. Students will then draw from observation and interpret it into large narrative drawings or surreal landscapes using the still life as the inspiration. This workshop is in preparation for our next exhibition at Out of the Box, “Eat At Your Own Risk”, featuring artists Sanika Phawde and John Rego.
This workshop is $20 for non-members and $15 for members. Open to ages 16+.
